First stuffed zucchini flower of the season..

Female flowers are the best. They're bigger than the males and you get that immature zucchini as an extra. Also cuts down on the glut later in the season. You must harvest early in morning before the flower is fertilized and starts to wilt.

Ricotta cheese to fill the flower up to where the pedals split. Make a liberal (hate that work) grating of Parmesano Regianno, freshly ground pepper, and Italian Seasoning. Mix all together, stuff the flower and fold the pedals over and put in the frig for that evening's dinner. Coat with your favorite moist mix and deep fry. Remove after a couple of minutes, drain, and enjoy.
