First test with the filters

High Octane
A few of the first shots I took while trying the new close-up filters out. Lighting wasnt the best and i need to get the focus and DoF better adjusted, but its a start.

The Drop shots are so much fun---try letting water fill a glass and shot across the top of it---the reverberation drop shots are cool too---use different color glass or plastic and different color backgrounds--It is seriously addictive!

I'm still learning this stuff. What filters did you use for what pic, and what exactly do the filters do?

I used close-up filters for all three shots; they allow the lens to be able to focus closer, as well as increase magnification to allow you to use normal lenses to shoot macro type images. They screw onto the front of your lens like other filters, and cost around $30 or so for a cheap set.

Love the drop!

Thank you :yay:
