I've never been a new mommy. :shrug:

Back then I was not a big drinker, at least not as big as I am now Only on the weekends though.

Got all excited and called a friend only to have her tell me "That's great, but don't get too excited yet as most miscarriages happen within the first trimester."

I don't really recall, but I'll bet it was either "started cursing" or "started crying".

It took me two years to get pregnant, so I had to wait until I was absolutely, positively pregnant to tell FB 'cuz he was tired of my highs and lows.

But, I told everyone else.

And my best friend cried when I showed her the EPT. (and no, they weren't tears of joy )

Both my kids were little "surprises", which is a good thing because I'd have never gotten around to really planning on having a baby, and my kids just so happen to be fabulous. (just like their mother )

Then I got so excited that I was finally going to get my little bebe. I didn't tell anybody for a few weeks/months because I was too scared to jinx myself.

I told the hubby and he stared at me with his deer in the headlights look and promptly went back to cleaning out the rain gutters.

Then I called my sister.

I went out and bought newborn clothes and ninnies but em in a bag and gave it to my husband thats how I told him. I always heard it's bad luck to tell others before you are at least 3 months, BUT who can go by that I think everyone knew within a month.

I stared at the EPT thingy and wondered outloud "What the f^ck did I just do?"

And then I woke the DH up by shoving the test thingy in his face asking "if that looks like 2 lines to him" I don't think I'll ever forget the look on his face trying to wake up and register what I was asking him...

I told my husband to go get another test just to be sure. When that one came up positive too, I called my mom.

I did something different with all of mine....different but similar!!lol......first time I bought a pair of baby booties, and a bib that said "I love my Daddy"...put it on his dinner plate, covered it with a towel and said "honey i made something special"..I did that with my second too but bought other things and used the test.....
third one, I put the EPT test in a envolope, sealed it and (it was his B-day) said here honey Happy Birthday.....inside wrapped around the test was a piece of paper that said "How does October sound for a baby?"
Fourth one i went to the bathroom took the test it immedialty went possitive........so he was sitting watching TV.I put the test in the band of my jeans and said "hey Honey can you look at my belly button, something doesnt look right"..he lifted my shirt to look at pulled out the test............and with everyone I cried he cried we were so Happy!!!

I went out and bought a two pack because I was bound and determined that the damn test was wrong. I took two more. Then I called baby daddy and !
