First time with new camera

Here is a picture I took last weekend. It was my first time using the D80....

VERY nice.

I can't wait, supposed to have a couple of Nikons inbound for work. Wanted the D90 but I needed 2 cameras, so had to settle for 2 D80's.

Thanks everyone! Still adjusting to the size of the D80 since i've been using a point and shoot...huge difference!

Is the camera capable of doing the B&W with the red barn or did you edit it? I know it can be done in PS but if the camera can do it, thats amazing.

It was done in PS, the D80 doesnt have that capability; although it would be pretty cool like you said.

No. The most you can do these days - I think - is universal editing, such as adjusting the WB, exposure, or doing a crop. And I still wouldn't use those features because PC-based editing is still preferable. Besides, doing a detailed process like the color/B&W combo could be quite laborious on a 2 - 3 inch LCD.
