Tagged on their website as "The American Exotic". I really don't see how a South Korean engine (Hyosung) qualifies as American made.
Don't get me wrong, the bike looks hot. You can get upgraded parts like suspension bits. And it's a 650cc v-twin. A very popular displacement akin to the mighty SV650. (actually from what I hear the engine is essentially a copy of that lump). All at a decent price. And hey they are assembled in Maryland!
It is believed the same engine and base forks are used in Hyosung's GT650R. http://www.hyosungmotorsusa.com/images/product/popup/i_GT650R.jpg
So ~$2k more for a motorcycle "made in the USA" with the same engine and forks as it's source company? One hopes the chassis and build quality are better than Hyosung's for that extra $$.
How about it?
