Fishing reel and rod recommendation

Hello. I’m searching for a combo that can handle the Nedmiki, drop shot, Ned rig, shakey head, and possibly a rig worm. Of course, I’ll also be using the Wacky rig. I’ve been looking at buyer guides from Buas Outdoor’. My budget is around $150. I’ve never been a fan of fishing reels, but I’d like to try one and see how I like spinning gear.

Are you going to be doing a lot of fishing? You can get a good balanced outfit for a reasonable price. My economy gear catches just as many fish as the person with the pricey St. Croix pole.

Here's a few examples:

Go to WalMart and buy something you like I cant help you as all my stuff is pricey cause thats how I roll....Lol
Saltwater = Penn or Shimano reels Freshwater Shimano,Diawa,Penn
Rods all depend on what weight lures or bait rigs you use
When I go to Hatteras to surf fish I see people with custom made rods they paid 500 dollars for and they dont catch anymore fish then any WalMart 100 dollar combo when setup correct and line I use Berkley Trilene extra limp because it has no memory and cast very well. When you shop Pick a rod and reel put it together and see how it feels you will know when its right
