I was looking for new deep sea fishing reels and was debating between the new Penn Fathom 200 low profile or a Shimano Chronarch G. I will mainly be fishing in a kayak or bay boat for reds and speckle trout. I am newer to fishing and have no experience in quality fishing gear. Also, does anyone have any recommendations of places in the area to shop for new equipment? I will also soon be looking for a new rod to pair the reel with.
