Went to Mattawomen creek in Charles County, Caught 3 nice size catfish and one large snapping turtle. Let the turtle go but filleted the fish and put them in the freezer.

Caught yesterday just after dark at the mouth of the Wicomoco.
Caught about the same earlier in the day but without the larger croaker.

Canoe.......so i guess i could say yes to both...lol

Snapping turtle is good eating, but I hear a real pain to clean. Heard from a guy down in Ridge that trapped them and sold the meat. I bought some and baked it with shake and bake.

My kayak gets here wednesday so ill probably head out next weekend
