This is to advise that Governor Larry Hogan ordered the United States Flag and Maryland State Flag lowered to half-staff effective immediately until sunset, Sunday, December 30, 2018. This action is in honor of former President George H. W. Bush who passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 (per federal law, the flag shall be flown at half-staff 30 days from the death of a former President).
