Flea/Tick/Heartworm preventative

I currently use Frontline for fleas/ticks and Interceptor for heartworms, but would LOVE to avoid having to pill my cats. Although Interceptor is made as a chewable treat, my boys don't like them, and I end up having to force them to swallow the pill. Has anyone used the combo topical treatments, such as Advantage Multi or Revolution? Pros/Cons?

can you try to mask the pill inside a treat. We have to fold our monster's into a piece of cheese b/c she too hates them (I know she's a pooch so it's a little different)

My boys are smarter than me. Mask it in a treat or food, and they manage to eat around it.

I have been using Revolution on my cat since we got him from Tri county as a kitten and no problems. He will be 6 in October of this year.
