At 916 am est, radar indicated an area of very heavy rain 2 miles north of bel alton, moving southeast at 20 mph. Flooding was reported in charles county. Radar indicates that two inches of rain has already fallen over the warned area. Another inch will be possible through 1215 pm est.
Some locations that will continue to be affected by the heavy rain include la plata, leonardtown, st. Mary''s city, hollywood and piney point.
