"I know this river like the back of my hand!"Stopped some of them....#2 son works on the water and they came in early after running the boat aground several times.

Beautiful picture. And in 5 minutes it’s gone! Though soybeans will not dry before sundown so still no cutting.

The view from the top of the TJ bridge was outstanding.
Y'all know that the old Culvert County way of predicting how many snowstorms the oncoming winter will have is equal to the number of foggy mornings in October and November.
Super heavy dews here the last week. Can't get my grass cut....and the guy that bales the hay for the farm my wife runs baled a bunch of it damp. Argh. And in 5 minutes it’s gone! Though soybeans will not dry before sundown so still no cutting.

That's gonna mold. Can it be cut open and dried, then re-baled?Super heavy dews here the last week. Can't get my grass cut....and the guy that bales the hay for the farm my wife runs baled a bunch of it damp. Argh.
Yes..its going to mold. Too late to do much about it. My wife and several others buy their hay elsewhere and have it shipped in (or we go pick it up in Delaware with our big rig). The "good stuff for the horses comes from Kentucky, Idaho and Canadian provinces these days. That's gonna mold. Can it be cut open and dried, then re-baled?
All that time and energy wasted.Too late to do much about it.
yup.All that time and energy wasted.
When I got to the top of the bridge this morning, it was like driving through a cloud. I could see the bridge and the car in front of me, that's it. Then when I got to work, I could actually see the fog droplets as I walked to the front door.
