Foods I've been savoring

hmmmmmm
I purchased some olives at an olive bar today. One container of pitted kalamata, one of pitted italian herb marinated green. I tried the green and I got them more for my BF but I really like them more than the kalamata, must get more.

I bought dark chocolate today. I have the Green & Black's extra dark and I have also had the Endangered Species Blueberry dark choc. bar but I just tried for the very first time Dagoba lavendar. It dark choc with blueberries and lavender, its amazing and I have the ghost of lavender in my mouth still. I only eat 2 bites from the bar at a time, I might have it a few times a week, really thats all I need.

Figs, calimyrna figs not dried. I love ripe, fresh figs, I would love to have a fig tree one day. This is my treat for my sweet tooth.

I have been experementing with my dehydrator a lot and recently made up a batch of raw corn chips and flax crackers, more like a chewey flax bread. I'm going to try a raw mayo (made with olive oil and avocados) for a cucumber "sandwich".

Ashai Steak and Chicken, fried rice with yumm yumm sauce.

Does anybody know whats actually in yum yum sauce? :twitch:

There is a connection with food and mood. Olives, I think they put me in the mood :smoochy: and chocolate leaves me with a bit of a euphoric feeling. Mint wakes me, salads seem to give me boundless energy.

I love olives. Where's that olive bar?

That mayo sounds pretty damn good. If you give that a shot make sure you post the results!

You know, one day we were in there eating. This was a while back when I worked at PAX, and we asked, it was a boat load of stuff that just listening packed on the pounds...but it is worth it...
