i usually forward stuff like that to fraud@bankname.com

I never understand why people fall for these obvious scams.

I got an "eBay dispute" yesterday that looked very real until you hover over the links to see what they really are.

The reality is a lot of people don't know to do that. We do, it's our nature; others who don't understand the concept of email address, etc. they are the ones. They do look very real!

I got one of those a couple weeks ago....I've never had an ebay account

Sad thing is, many folks still fall for it. You figure the fraudsters can send out tons of these emails and if 1 out of 1,000 fall for it they've accomplished their goal.

BTW- spoof@ebay.com or spoof@paypal.com if you get suspect emails regarding those accounts. I get them all the time.

I got one from Bank of America warning me that my account would be closed in 2 weeks unless I replied to the email and all that jazz.

I've never had a Bank of America account. :rolleyes:
