Footing in the new covered arena at PGEC

Sucks!!! Very deep. A lot of horses didnt seem to care for it. Made for soft landings for the riders though!

New footing tends to be deep and loose as it needs to settle a bit first. If hunter riders are complaining that it's too deep the dressage people are going to cry buckets. Hopefully it settles by the PVDA Ride for Life in June!

I thought exactly the same thing about the DQs! :lmao:

They should remove some footing and add as needed.

I'm sure it will compact some, but not as quickly as an outdoor ring would that gets the rain and such I dont think.
