It is. But here's the thing. Not by 2024, but this is the way it plays out. You simply cannot compete when saddled by dealerships. GM has already said that the "old days" of massive inventory sitting in the sun are gone. Its a crazy inefficient way to make an sell cars. GM estimates that Tesla saves 2K a car just but not having dealerships.

Ford knows this too, but are being a bit cagey about it.

Some of it. There are also Model S and Model X service vehicles. The gas ones are better at hauling larger items. I imagine once the Cybertruck enters production, you'll see these vans leave.
