These guys werent too bright.

How did they expect to get away with this crap.

Sure they pull one raid and a few things turn up missing ,that might be allowed to pass, but to keep doing this? Sooner or later ,some idiot supervisor, who had overlooked the other robberies had to wake up and say, "What's going on"?

"He's going to be 147-years-old when he gets out," Deitch said. "He's probably not going to see his children again."

Dont do crime:shrug::patriot:

Unfortunately, like every segment of our society and armed forces, the few bad eggs make it bad for the rest of the force. That is the way it has been since the birth of the republic.
They arn't all boy scouts and though we want them to be, the reality is to respect the majority that try to be and be expectant that some just don't make the grade.

Right Andy.

You have a few responses in your repertoire.

"Waldorf is not ghetto....."

"Cop bashing ....."

"PCjohnny and I are just good friends not ghey lovers....."

I mean what? Do you argree with these criminals, not cops, using the LAPD's name to kick in doors and rob citizens of everything they have or what?

First, I have no sympathy for the cop. He violated the public trust.

But.... Is what he did worthy of a life sentence? I'm not a fan of mandatory sentences where a judge cannot take circumstances into account.

The sentence he got averages out to 2.6 years per home invasion, doing it under the ruse of a cop. Yeah I think that is fair. This is the worst kind of criminal IMO.

I agree what he did is atrocious, but IMO that isn't the "worst." I'd say child molesters and murderers are worse, and they don't get sentences as long as this.

I just don't like the idea that the legislature can make a law that takes away the authority of the court. Isn't that what separation of powers is all about?

I understand what you mean about the mandatory sentences, but some of things I see judges do these days is unbelieveable and in so many cases far too lenient.

I agree that child molesters and muderers are worse as far as their actual crimes, but this guy is using his power, power that very few people would question to rape people's homes and posessions.

I remember another case a few years back where this same kind of thing happend. A California buisness man had his multi-million dollar home broken into by thug cops looking to rip him off. Inside they encountered his wife with their weapons drawn on her, she begged for her life. He heard this and came to her defense with a gun of his own, they shot an killed the man.

Unbelieveable that people like this make into the police departments of this country.

Every single week, you start a new thread (at least once a week) about what some rogue bad-apple cop did that's illegal. Do you ever post anything good about what cops do?

I don't like it when cops blatantly break the law, but there are far more good cops out there. I know several good cops - they do us all a public service and I think you should be more greatful instead of sitting behind your monitor showing us how some cop somewhere violated public trust.

:

Yes, yes I do. I have taken the cops side in several cases recently posted on here. The re-hashed "murdered veteran", the NYC case that you disagree with, the dummy in Brandywine or whatever that stole a car and then got shot for not showing his hands, to name a few.

If you don't want to look at any threads pointing out abusive cops then STFO. I was making more of a point about what the idiot judge was saying in this case as I thought that EVERYONE would be against these so called "cops" this time.

Stick to your hurricane and defending Waldorf threads if you don't like what I post.:howdy:

I think it's worthy of a life sentence. He and his cohorts stole the trust of the people they served. Just as a child molester steals the trust of that child, it has everlasting ramifications on society and the people we are to serve.
