U.S. District Judge Paul W. Grimm today sentenced Anita Fortune, age 56, of Alexandria, Virginia, to 30 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for a conspiracy to defraud the United States and for assisting in the preparation and filing of false tax returns. Judge Grimm also ordered Fortune to pay restitution in the full amount of the loss, $189,748.
