Spay and Neuter Your Pets
We recently picked up four more fosters at Tri-County and if there's anyone out there who fosters or is looking to adopt, this would be a good time to go over there. They're painting the quarantine side and had to move a lot of dogs around and, unfortunately, there's not much room for new ones coming in. So, if you're looking or have room in your home or heart! :flowers:

We've got just about everything over here from Mastiff Cross to Toy Poodle, with Akita, lab mixes, etc. in between. We have two more smaller ones we're picking up this week (mini pin and poodle X) and that will be the last unless we adopt some out this weekend.
For the red karma givers on this thread I have to say ???????????????????

Ironically, we're a horse farm just lucky enough to have secluded private airconditioned facilities for fosters. Some stay with us longer than others but many have gone to wonderful forever homes. :flowers:

Would you happen to have any smaller dogs (25lbs or less)? I'm in search of a smaller dog to accompany me in my apartment.

I know a toy poodle was mentioned as well as a couple other small breeds. :yay:

Yes, we have a 10+ year old toy poodle 7.4 lbs. who will be neutered and vetted tomorrow. He's sort of toothless but as lovable as all get out. We also have a dachund/? mix who is ready to go and as sweet as can be. Then there's a lab/? mix (Nikki) who loves to do tricks. We're also picking up a 1 year old poodle/? mix tomorrow from the shelter who is a tad nervous but I'm sure will do fine once she meets everyone. Those are our smallest ones. But, I can find anything you would like when I visit the shelter tomorrow. :flowers:

I'll check on it and I'm sure we can fit him in someplace. Anyone interested? I know he has a note "supervisor approval only", but I can check on that when I'm there. Coincidentally, I'm going there now because I just received a call that the poodle's time is up -- although I had her down for tomorrow.

I don't understand that. One of our forumites adopted a Boxer from them several months ago. He was listed as something like that or rescue only. They just left him in the cage, didn't do much with him. He is a great dog, just was upset and frightened from being dumped at the shelter. When the forumite went to the shelter and insisted on visiting with him, they found him to be a wonderful dog.

OM, it's great your getting her out of there. How old is she? BTW, I might have someone interested in Niki. I'm going to give him a call today.
