Recently found an older dachshund, probably around 6 to 9 judging by the decay of his teeth and the little bit of gray he has around his muzzle. He is neutered and, I'm guessing, was fat before he was dropped or ran away, as he has a lot of extra skin. He is a very sweet dog, gets along with my other dogs and the cat. The family loves him, but I know I would be devastated if I lost my dog and someone kept her. So here's the post. If he sounds like yours send a picture or give me a better description, I kept mine vague so no false claims could be made.

He was found about three weeks ago. My family said he had been running around for a week or so on the street before they picked him up. But he had probably been out longer judging by the weight he was and the amount of fleas, ticks, and scabbing he had. But yes, they picked him up in the Hollywood area.
