Found Dog (black lab mix)

Animal Poor!
Must be the day for finding black labs..
Found in leornardtown area wandering on our dirt road towards our farm. I have never seen him in the area before. He looked to be neutered but that was a quick peek :) Collar but no tags... very stinky but otherwise in good shape. He was very hungry! Extremely Friendly...

I didn't have my camera equipment with me and he didn't want to hold still for the cell phone but I managed to get these... not very good :shrug:

He's about 70-80lbs and tucked away in a horse stall tonight... he chowed down on some kibble and wasn't food aggressive at all...

we'll take him tomorrow to get scanned to see if he's chipped...

Hard to tell by the pics, but he looks pretty young. Hope he finds his home. GL.

Ok I don't know if someone is playing a joke on me or what...:lmao:

I get to the farm and the road is flooded out. Farmers just drove through and say it is ok, so I drive through it. I round the corner to where I found the black lab yesterday and there is another stray/lost dog in the same place!!!!

My niece comes down with the gator because we can't get her to jump in my car. We get her halfway up to the barns and the freaking sky opens up!!!! I'm standing in a horse stall, with a stray dog, watching pieces of wood come off one barn and rain coming straight across the sky.

Owner has been found!!! They were from the same home. Black lab got out a couple of days ago and the golden got out and went searching for the lab yesterday. They are on there way to the farm to get them!

That's great!! Make sure to ask them if they've been micro-chipped. Seems to me I read about a black lab and golden together from either the classifieds or the forums. Can't remember if someone was saying they lost them or someone had spotted two together running loose. Hopefully they won't get out again.

Wonderful job getting them reunited. :yahoo:
