Hello Everyone,

I Found A Dog In My Yard Thursday 5/23/08 At Approximately 3pm ...could Use Your Help I Have Filed Reports W/humane Society And Animal Shelter And Tidewater Veterinarian Hospital...have Had No Response So Far....if Anyone Knows Anything Please Contact Me Through Private Message (monaleesa).

Today is the 23rd and it's not 3:00 p.m. yet.

Speaking of dogs...I almost hit one this morning :ohwell: This beagle was walking down the middle of Sotterley Road. I wanted to stop and see if it would get in my car, but it ran away. Poor thing.

Sorry About The Date, So I Found The Dog Yesterday May 22nd At 3pm....been Off A Couple Of Days Throws Me Off...anyway, Let Me Know If You Have Any Other Suggestions On How I Can Locate Owner...

You can post an ad in the classifieds under "Lost and Found". Otherwise, it seems you have your bases covered. Good luck finding the owner. I am sure someone is really missing their pooch.

THE HUMANE SOCIETY RECOMMENDED THAT I NOT LIST A DESCRIPTION OF THE DOG SO THAT WHEN SOMEONE DOES CONTACT ME THEY HAVE TO DESCRIBE THE DOG TO ME SO TO ENSURE THAT I GET THE ACTUAL OWNER...THE DOG HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND IS COMPLETELY TRAINED SO I AM SURE SOMEONE IS LOOKING FOR IT...

You could also post signs up at McKays bulletin board.

I would say at the "T" on Golden Beach Rd too, but if they live in Laurel Ridge, I'm not sure how often they would drive past there.

Good luck finding the owners!

Did you take it to a vet or shelter to have it scanned? If it looks well taken care of they may have had it microchipped too.

Whoops, didn't know you had already posted about the dog. I deleated my thread.

I hope someone comes forward to claim the dog!!
