Found Dog, Need Help Fast!!

Hey guys, Hubby and I were coming home this morning and came across a little Jack Russell Terrier (or JRT/mix) running down Rt. 5 in Loveville. He almost got hit by a couple of cars, so we turned around and went back and picked him up. We checked in with the folks at Third Base, but they didn't have any idea who/where he belonged, so we brought him home with us. He had a collar on, but no tags. We bought him a harness and leash. Our daughter posted a message on Tri-County's web site already.

We cannot keep him here till we find the owner. Our cats are freaked over him even being on the porch outside. Also, the little guy is very hyper (duh). Can anybody foster him? Maybe pick him up this evening? We are off of Golden Beach Road. I've attached a couple of pics. Please PM me if you can help out or if he is yours!!

:yahoo: Doggie's owner has been located and will be picking him up this afternoon!!! I happened to think that we forgot to leave our number at Third Base, so I called them up and they said the owner had been in looking for him after we left!! His "girl" was very excited to find him!



UPDATE: Owner picked doggie up and it was a very happy and touching reunion! :smile:

Whew, I am just glad that was your hubby's leg in that picture and not yours.:eyebrow: j/k :lol:

Also great news that the pup and it's owner were reunited and that your and your hubby were thoughtful enough to pick it up the first place. :buddies:

:killingme His legs are much skinnier than mine!! :lol: What I didn't post before, was that the dog managed to work his "tie out" out of the ground and was running down the road with the enitre wire lead and metal screw anchor attached to his collar. :yikes: Guess all the rain we've had made it easy for him to pull it out of the ground. Anyway, it was fun to have a JRT for a couple of hours... Just a couple of hours!! I don't think we could have kept up with him for much longer!! :lmao:
