Found Dog

Lovely black mix walked up to my wife on the 24th. I walk the neighborhood all the time and I've never seen her before. I would guess she's 7 or 8, with some lameness in her right hip. She's about 55 lbs, with some "old girl" grey flecking on her underside. Her teeth appear to have been recently cleaned, and she's got a healthy appetite.

We cannot keep another dog right now, due to travel plans and already full doggie watchers. I would prefer to find her owners, cause I think someone is really missing her now. She gets really excited when she sees kids, so i suspect she's been raised with children.

I hope you find the owners. She is lucky she came to you. I wonder if she is chipped?

Plan to take her to our vet tomorrow to check - i forgot to mention in the first post that we found her in St. Leonard, on Douglas St., just off
Flag Harbor Blvd.

"Precious" reunited with mom this afternoon... she's a runner, and now we know where she lives if she shows up again. Likes to dig under chain link fence.
