found puppy

Finally, I was able to load a picture of the puppy I found.

She is the most friendly dog I have come across (as a stray). She was running on Rosewick Road right in front of the Faternal Order of Police. She looks like she has been taken care of, but was quite hungry when we found her. Does she look familar to anyone? Would anyone like to adopt her?

I've been trying to attach a picture for the past two days for various posts and I get an "accerleration error" What's the puppy look like? Maybe it's Scruffy's ?? :shrug: :huggy: :shrug: I thought maybe it was just me :crazy: :whack:

Plus she rode great in the truck. Laid down the whole time we were driving. She just seemed to have the best disposition. Anyone looking for a new puppy/dog?

Dang..I can't find that thread..there was a puppy lost or found and another dog that looked just like this dog. It was a few weeks ago...

We had a stray decide it wanted to live with us once. We were able to go by the animal shelter and they scanned for a microchip... Owners found! I think some vet's offices have the equipment to scan too.

Wasn't that the one where the girl found the dog and took it to the vet to have the blockage removed?

No microchip! when she came to me, she didnt hestitate, she didnt stink (like most dogs do), she had a great distemperment, but no collar. I really thought she would have had a chip. I took her to be scanned and they said she was more than likely an outside dog (and ran away), they could tell by her fur, and she had a tick on her head, they pulled out. I just hope I can find her owners.

Rosewick in LaPlata? Dang she was close to 301 :shocked:

Tidewater and the shelter has chip scanners.
From my experience, Tidewater can't read the shelter's chips and I don't know if the shelter can read all chips or not. :confused:

Yes, the one in LaPlata and she would have made it to 301 in no time, but she was runnig in the gully part of the road, if I wasnt leaving the FOP and was at the stop sign, I would have never saw her. I took her to the vet and the humane society to be scanned, but no luck.

I will put an ad in the classifed section, I remembered last night, but I couldnt get the picture to load and totally forgot this morning.

:yahoo: I may have found some one will foster her.:yahoo: I had a lady email me and say that she has fostered before and has worked with rescue groups and if no one steps forward she may be interested. I am so hoping this works out.:love:
