Anyone lose a puppy? Cattitude found a puppy today in Prince Frederick. It appears to be a beagle blue tick mix - maybe about 5-7 months old. Anyone???

She is exceptionally sweet and gentle. Actually, I think she's probably closer to a year, she has most of her adult teeth..very clean. She was covered in ticks. I was unable to keep her but thanks to Dems and River, she's been cleaned up and is safe and not in the road where I found her. :yay:

She's very sweet! She gets along great with the cats and Bailey lovers her. Even Peanut (who is very difficult) gets along with her.

She seems like the perfect puppy/dog. She hasn't peed or pooped either all evening - can't get anymore perfect than that :yay:

You mean in the house or at all?

None at all. She has eaten some and has drank some water some but has been sleeping for the most part. She was very good in the bath...oh wait... maybe she peed in the bath??? She's been sleeping mostly the past few hours, each hour she gets walked and she doesn't do anything. She's sniffed the other dog's stuff... and nothing. Maybe stress?

How many ticks did she have on her? She could also have a bit of anemia.

Lots of ticks! We picked off at least 12-15 during her bath alone. River is taking her to get scanned (at a vet's office I think) tomorrow. I'll mention this to her to mention to vet person. Thanks! Lets hope we find her owners :clap: She's a good girl!

OMG! She was covered and I mean COVERED. She even had them in her...uh..bottom. :frown: I pulled at least 20 off of her and there were others crawling on her. She also has little bumps where I'm sure there were other bites.

I found her about 4 p.m. Her coat is very pretty and she's of good weight.

A friend at the bus stop this morning told me about a fellow looking for a similar dog in St. Leonard. She was lost about three weeks ago. I'm going to look into that.

I'm not a "hound" person but she's a pretty girl and just a doll.

Puppy made it fine through the night. She has her adult teeth however small and still coming in. BIG paws... River thinks its a hound/bluetick mix. She was good in the house however this morning RiverRat was trying to get her collar on to let her out and she was soo excited she peed on the floor, and then couldn't STOP peeing :jameo:  She's easily excited and very curious. I don't know what her name is. I've tried lots of names and sadly the only one she'll perk her ears up and start cocking her head and wagging her tail to each time is "dummy" I tried mummy, tummy and even rummy. What else could it be? Surely people don't name their dogs "dummy"?? Do they??
