The death toll nears 4,000 as a roadside bomb kills 3 today while indirect fire claimed a soldier on Friday.

BAGHDAD -- - The number of U.S. troops killed in Iraq edged closer to the milestone figure of 4,000 dead today as a roadside bomb claimed the lives of three soldiers.

The bomb blew up the U.S. soldiers' vehicle and killed two Iraqis in northwestern Baghdad, the military said in a press release. The military also reported that indirect fire, either a rocket or mortar, killed a U.S. soldier and wounded four others south of Baghdad on Friday.

So you have unequivocal data to prove Al Qeada was not in Iraq before the invasion? They were not there in the 90s when your hero was in the office banging interns? You are some sort of military expert to claim the military is in a worse state of readiness? Needless war with Iran?
