One thing I could never figure out... NASCAR is SO up on safety and protection and spends millions on barriers and in-car hardware.... so why on earth do they schedule a race knowing that they will HAVE to drive right into the sun during a sunset ???? That makes no sense at all....

Did you notice that piece of smoking rubber? Those tires are incredibly hot. I was in the pits for one race, and the tires that came over the wall were SO hot you couldn't touch them without burning your hand (yes, I did...). If you held your hand a foot away from the tire, you could feel the radiated heat.

I was at MIR, but I heard FOX missed the first 20 laps.
Everything I, and most other race fans, were pissed at ESPN about last year, FOX is doing this year.

I don't care what anybody says, TNT should get THE WHOLE season. They're the only network that hasn't screwed up royally.

I'm pulling for Mark Martin, the #8 car, but it looks like Junyer's got this thing locked up.
Harvick's car is a piece of chit tonight, they've made dramatic adjustments every pit stop and it's not helping.

I'm pulling for Mark Martin, although we all know NASCAR wants Junyer to win.
DAMN!!!! Hamlin beat Harvick out and Junyer had another 13.4 second stop.
Mark's better than Junyer on the long run, but we keep getting cautions everytime Mark gets to Junyer.

Junior is my man, I almost went with him tonight to win, but took Johnson like alot of us did.
Martin's a old fart, if it was anyone other then Junior he was chasing I might be pulling for him, but then again he's racing for the wicked stepmother and I dont like her.
