Help "Invisible Dogs"
looking for a forever home....
Frankie was scheduled to die today but somehow someone at the shelter managed to get him a reprieve until Monday.
Frankie is in the Baltimore County Shelter, and they, like TriCounty, will not adopt out pits to the public, so the workers try their best to get the special one's adopted.
Most pleas that come out are begging for help for a pit that has been hurt, starved, abused, fought or kept on a chain, all pleas guaranteed to touch rescuers hearts. Well, in comes Frankie and even though he's just a regular ol' pitbull with no hard luck story, he managed to touch this worker's heart and she is trying desperately to get him out of there.
I'm posting this on the long shot that someone out here may be willing to foster him while we look for a home, or just possibly someone will look at his picture and realize what a great addition he would make to their home. As usual time is of the essence - so if you see this and think you can help, please PM or email me at katmc@secondhoperescue.org. If you can't help please forward.

This is Frankie, he's a brown and white pitbull, a little underweight at 30lbs, he can't be much over a year old. Frankie will give you a big smile when he meets you, he's affectionate, sweet and very gentle. Walks well on a leash and loves to cuddle. Frankie doesn't appear to be aggressive with other dogs and had very little interest in cats. He is very calm in his kennel, doesn't bark at all, he's just happy to have a dry, safe place to rest his weary body, looks like he's been on the streets for a while.
Frankie knows there are rescues pulling more pitiful dogs than him from other states, but that's ok with him, he knows they need saving too. Frankie is not emaciated, has not been used as a bait dog, is not injured, or near death, he is not broken and will not cost a rescue hundreds of dollars they don't have to repair him . Frankie is just another sweet pitbull that will probably be destroyed because his time was up and no one stepped forward to save his precious life!!!
