U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis today sentenced Toni Ann Bobet, age 30, of New York, New York, to 50 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for conspiracy to commit wire fraud and for aggravated identity theft, in connection with a scheme to fraudulently obtain and charge the costs of upgraded Apple iPhones against true AT&T customers. Judge Xinis also ordered Bobet to pay restitution of $95,001.
