The American Red Cross and the Branch Dental Clinic at NAS Patuxent River are looking for a few good people…
La Plata, Jan 12, 2004— The Branch Dental Clinic NAS Patuxent River announces open registration for the American Red Cross Volunteer Dental Assistant Program on Wednesday 9 February 2004 at the Dental Clinic, BLDG 1370. The program will consist of approximately 20 classroom hours to be conducted during the first week followed by clinical observation and then hands-on training. The emphasis will be on operative dentistry (fillings) with possible exposure to other dental specialties. Criteria for prospective volunteers are:

--Have a valid military ID card, Active, Reserve, Dependent, and Retiree
--Be at least 18 years of age
--Completed a hepatitis B vaccination series and
PPD skin test
--Must complete American Red Cross Orientation
(to be done during the course)

This is a great opportunity to enter a very portable occupation without any tuition expenses—only your time!
