Go to the Performance tab, hit Advanced, uncheck "Use overlays" but leave "Use video mixing renderer" checked. This should work fine unless you have a really ####ty graphics card.
You could also turn off all hardware overlays and this would work for Real Player, but if you play any video games or watch DVDs, I would strongly NOT suggest that.
Oh yeah, print screen copies it to your clipboard, paste it into Paint and save as .jpg.
