Fresh hams

Having a hard time finding fresh hams....what/who are we missing? I've been spoiled for decades because we did our own hog processing, but that's now a thing of the past for us.

I don't know about St. Mary's but you could try Hancock Farms in La Plata or Gray's in Marbury.

Guess I'd have to call..they do not list anything like a fresh ham as something they sell.

What about Nick's of Clinton? Chaptico market has stuffed ham but I don't think they sell whole hams. Are you looking for a ham to stuff or just a regular one?

Nick's in Prince Frederick had 4 of them when I was there at 11 am this morning.

Call Weis in PF, also. I'm not sure about fresh hams, but I think they may carry them, as I actually saw corned hams in there a couple of weeks ago and was somewhat surprised. Worth a call!

Success! She found two fresh hams at the Callaway Weis....snagged one. They don't get many and they sure don't hang around long... Pretty ham too!
