Had a friend of mine years ago, who was from Taiwan. HIS father was a poor fisherman, and he grew up almost never eating chicken, pork or beef.
When he went to school, he was the only one with seafood - because his family couldn't afford better.

So he told them all his fish and squid was - special. And if ALL THE KIDS gave him bits of their chicken or pork or beef - he'd let each of them have A TASTE of his.
