Sweet dog (I know!) needs a good home! She'll be put to sleep if someone doesn't take her soon! You wouldn't want that to happen would you? Yeah, neither do I.

I would take Honey myself if only my parents would let me :'(

Yeah, but to find one requires effort. :ohwell:

Oh. I thought something had been posted before, referring people to certain shelters. I hope they find Honey a home.

I'm not sure why they're getting rid of her... My best guess is that they probably don't spend enough time at home anymore and want to make sure she has a home where she can get love and attention.

Hello, this is the owner of the my name is Kim and I am using Rio's account. To answer all questions about the dog, I love the dog very much and hate to have to get rid of her. Yes i have found shelters, but I feel better about finding the dog a home myself where I can get to know her new owner.
I have to get rid of her due to a law suit. She has a loud "vicious" bark but has never bitten anyone. I can not afford the law suit but would hate to have to give he away. If I can not get rid of the dog before the law suit i am affraid the courts will have her put to sleep.
I do love the dog very much and she is sweet. she is five years old and very well trained. If their are any further questions alway feel free to contact me myself. mikconley@yahoo.com I also have an ad on craigslist.com that includes pictures of her.

Why would someone sue you if the dog is just barking?

I agree....i never heard of a valid law suit where the courts have ordered a dog to be put to sleep for a vicious bark. Heck in this area you are lucky to get any cases involving animals to be heard at all whether for the better of the animal or not. I think this is a little fishy.

Do you really have to give up your dog? There's a big difference between being forced to give up your dog and wanting to "get rid of him". Search your heart for the real reason why your dog can't live with you anymore. Be honest with yourself.
Behavior problems...
If you got your dog as a puppy and he now has a behavior problem you can't live with, you must accept the fact that you are at least partly responsible for the way your dog is now.
You have 4 options:
1. You can continue to live with your dog the way he is.
2. You can get help to correct the problem.
3. You can try to give your problem to someone else.
4. You can have the dog euthanized.
You're probably most interested in Option 3 so let's talk frankly about that for a moment.
If you were looking for a dog and could select from all kinds of dogs and puppies, would you deliberately choose one with a behavior problem? No, certainly not - and neither would anyone else. To make your dog desirable to other people, you're going to have to take some action to fix his problems.
Most behavior problems aren't that hard to solve. You can get help with them if you'll give it a try.
If you, who know and love the dog best, won't give him another chance, why should anyone else? Think about that.

And to my karma give, she WAS holding a puppy. Wonder why the link to her myspace page was removed.

She never gave me permission to put the link up there in the first place, so she asked me to remove it... my mistake.

She seems to be having trouble with creating a new account and getting an error message when she tries to post, so I've given her my login again so that she can straighten this out.

So, for a while it may be her posting. I'll change my password back to something else after this is all sorted out.

You really don't need to leave the house for ass holes to piss you off, they're all over the internet. I try to post something on the Southern MD message board to help my friend find a home for her dog that will otherwise be put to sleep, and people are calling BS on me. I'm getting bad rep on the message board for trying to help a friend out, I mean - wtf?!? Who does that?

I HATE STUPID F***s.

THEY NEED TO GO F***ING DIE.

I DO NOT FEEL LIKE PUTTING UP WITH BULLSH!T TODAY.

awwwww :huggy:
