From Punk Rocker to “Orange Is the New Black"

If you’ve binge-watched “Orange Is the New Black,” you know Norma rarely utters a word on the show.

But Annie Golden, the actress who plays Norma, couldn’t be further from the character she portrays.

That’s because Golden used to be the lead singer of a punk band, The Shirts, back in the 1970s.

That is interesting! She never speaks on the show, but she did sing during the Christmas pagent last season when Crazy Eyes chickened out.
