I bought a Fuji finepix s1500 from BJ's yesterday and every setting is coming out grainy and fuzzy. I put the anti shake button on it didn't do anything. If you move a little the picture is messy. Does anyone know anything about this camera or what is a better camera? I have a small cheap polaroid one that sucks too.

What kind of conditions were you shooting in? An what setting did you try? Indoors or low light will make the camera pic a high ISO, that will produce noticable noise! Take it out during the daylight or little before sunset and try it out. Or Try using the flash inside. If your pictures are coming out noisy and blurry, it sounds like you are shooting in very low light. THis will make the camera lower the shutter speed and raise the ISO, and very possibly give you the results you are seeing.

Are you using the view finder or are you holding the camera at arms length and attemping to take a photo while moving the camera around.

I've got the Fine pix S1000, no problems

I used it in and out. I tried the flash on when inside and it does look better but then we come out too white. We are fare skin. Outside the pics look ok but not that good. I also tried the view finder and just the screen. I just seem to get a good picture. If i take a picture of a person and they move just a little the picture comes out blurred.

Can you look at the data about the picture, like shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and stuff? If so what are they?

Exchange it

That camera should work fine. Maybe it needs to be exchanged for another one.
