A lovely sound. My trained ear suggests it was 7.62x51 belts through any of the guns that feed that. Somebody(s) were having some fun this afternoon.

Yeah really loud, scared my grand sons. It took me some time to explain that the range is made for that. Loudest full auto that I have heard ever. As the crow flies we are not that far and it is pointed in our direction according to google maps.

I think that is all LEO or MSC (military sealift command) being trained there. I had a friend that was a trainer for MSC there. So all bought and paid for by the Government.
