This is the most important thing you can do before you start posting. Untold numbers of people joining have assumed they could jump right into the mix and go with the flow, only to be chewed up and spit back out with a trail of tears and only mocking insults left lingering over the steaming pile of feces that was their thread. So be sure to read through the forum several times over, several days in a row, if not months and weeks, to make sure you know what you're getting into.
