wife says we need a new couch...ok...:coffee:

I do NOT want to wander into a showroom and be pestered by salespeople nor pay a huge amount for some ho-hum fill-in.

Where in SoMd is the best Furniture stores? NC Furniture? Raley's?...
I need selection....and decent prices.

I might even be tempted by an Estate sale/auction.

I bought a couch and loveseat combo from Thompsons 14 yrs ago and yes I was very happy. Good quality and I still have the couch, it just needs a cleaning and it will be good as new.

Happy with the purchase?

Oh yeah! :yahoo: We purchased a Catnapper recliner w/massage and heat and a Catnapper double reclining sofa. 2A picked it out and I would've gone with something more traditional since kids won't be jumping on it but it suits our needs.

We bought a set of bunk beds and two matching dressers there years ago. They've been pretty indestructible.

Sofa Corner on Great Mills Rd. The guy that owns that place is wonderful. I think the preices are very good also. We got our whole living room set form there almost 3 years ago and it is still going strong.

Thompson's....best deals, best selections, amazing quality, will deliver and remove old stuff free....and its a really cool place to just wander around in! I won't buy anywhere else!

I was looking at sectionals and Boy and I set aside a Saturday and went to 5 different places and ended up back at Thompsons.

We ordered it, 4 weeks later it was in and delivered. We have a minor problem with it that just came up so I am going to swing by there today and see how they are going to correct it.

I have bought a bunch of stuff from them over the last 5 years and been pleased with all of it.

whoa,...better slow down a notch.:lmao:

anyway...looks like we might have a trip to two spots. Thompsons & Sofa Corner. Sadly the plumber is about to bust our budget for the month so this will have to wait after I pay taxes too.

Always somethin'.

We finally replaced our couches we sold last year w/ a LazyBoy sofa bed and a char w/ ottoman. Thompson's was awesome! It should be delivered here shortly I'm hoping.

We also purchased our oldests loft bed from them last year. Great customer service!

We have always used the 6mths same as cash option at Thompsons. Great deal and as long as you pay it off in the 6mths time frame it is no extra charge/ and no interest.

We got our couches from Sofa Corner a few years back. Customer Service was great....even after my 18-mo son got ahold of a bottle of bright red nail polish a few months after we bought it and decided the couch needed a paint job...

I called them up, they checked the records and ordered a new cushion cover for me. Perfect match. :yay:
