Spoiler: They also freak out if anyone calls their phone.

That's the thing with Reddit - all these neurotic anxiety-ridden young people trying to out-crazy each other.

"I freak out when someone knocks on my door."
"Oh yeah? Well I freak out when someone calls my phone."
"That's nothing, I freak out when I see another human being."

Is this what growing up on the internet has done to young people?

When we were kids there was an element of risk to the game "doorbell ditch". Always a chance you could catch an ass whooping from the person, or your parents, or both. That's what made it fun.

Now if kids try it they just get "Go away, nobody is home. I can see you through my camera. Don't come any closer or i'll call the cops. I have a dog *makes barking noises*"
