I think they just need to have Steny give them the Nancy Pelosis Get out of Jail free card.

But this is why when I go into any business I have my mask, hell the Tiki Bar has free masks at the check in desk.

It keeps the business's butt out of trouble.

Though I was told by one business owner it's not that the cops and health department are showing up at random.
They are getting calls, he doesn't know who is calling, but he was told they get calls and are obliged to check out the complaint.

So my advice to all those interested in seeing local business people open and not in jail, WEAR A GD MASK and follow the rules.
If you can't do that, then you are no better than the whiners sitting at home complaining about the businesses being open.

Maybe if the GD businesses would just rise up together and tell government to go pound sand then all this BS would stop. Because I will continue to not wear a mask.

I don't understand why, but there are a lot of people who are against opening up period. They don't want schools to go back, they don't want anything other than essential businesses to open, "STAY HOME"
I understand some people are at high risk, so fine, make sure they can stay home and have access to services
Most stores are offering curbside, touchless, pickup.

After the needs of the few are met, it should be up to the business and their customer.

Good news / Bad news, for those not in a high risk group, the virus is survivable, it's highly contagious, yes. But it's not as deadly or even severe as the media is selling, or should I say fear mongering. Most, the vast majority, of people who died for COVID had other underlying medical problems.
Just think about the people in nursing homes in New York and New Jersey alone that were killed by orders of their governors and mayor to infect them. Oh, wait, that was Trumps fault. I digress, the bad news is that there might not be an effective vaccine, immunity will only come from exposure. We can't keep everything shut down / locked up for ever.
But my digression wasn't by accident, I still say a lot of the hysteria is political, I find most of the "STAY AT HOME" crowd are Trump haters, you know, the ones that repeat every lie that CNN or some other media outlet prints, but keep repeating it even when it's debunked.

I agree, to an extent. The "virus" is a regular coronavirus. This statement is from the CDC:

It is here, in this statement, the CDC is admitting what has been going around is nothing but the regular yearly flu coronavirus. Which means, pretty soon we will start to see an increase in people getting colds and the flu. And since inflammation on the body is all nearly a function of diet, expect to see the numbers go through the roof this season, as it has with every season.

I still won't be wearing a mask, regardless of what dictates come down form the all mighty.

LoL - I have two lines - one line with plexiglass with a sign that reads “Dr Brewster from SMCHD wants you to stand here”. The other line is wide open with no barriers with a sign that reads “TPD would like you to stand here”.

Here‘s the thing - you as the customer not wearing a mask has no bearing on me as the business owner. There is no repercussions to me the owner if you the customer does not wear a mask - there is no ”teeth“ in the executive order stating I have to enforce customers to wear. The only thing I must do as the business owner is post a sign on the door that says “masks required”. You will probably need glasses or a magnifying glass to read this sign on my door, but it is legal according to the order. So I just don’t get all these businesses being so anal about enforcing customers to wear a muzzle.

all I know is that every bar / restaurant says the same thing.
People have been making lots of calls, reporting violations. They get threatened with a fine, and being closed down.
They say almost daily visits and it isn't random. Deputy did not say who was calling or which agency was getting the calls.
They could only say they were not doing nightly inspections.

Let's be honest, this has been a political crap show from the start, fueled by TDS.
But they have their game changer for the election, the economy, employment, all going along fine, got torpedoed.
The Liberal Karens and their snowflake allies now are saying Trump killed 200,000 people with his bungling.
What they don't say is a lot of the deaths were in states led by Democrats, who went full TDS to fight travel restrictions imposed by the administration. They doubled down by ordering infected patients be put in facilities with the most at risk people.
The number, 200,000 is also highly inflated.
But the message is clear, your suffering has been brought on by Trump.
It's the only hoax they have left, the pain, the damage is real. Larry has gone along because, he had TDS from the get go and he has political ambitions in a blue state.
