The DVD came out yesterday, I ran out and scooped it up cause I dig Scorsese. (Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, Mean Streets)
I enjoyed the movie. Although I am not too familiar with the history of Ney York City (the five points) around 1840's - 1860's. So, I dont know how accurate the depiction is. I will say if that is the way it was it was pretty f'ed up.
Has anyone else seen this movie/epic? It was about 3 hours long. If your gonna watch it, clear out the evening.
