Cant wait them start producing their own electrical power and getting their own water.
I suppose they think the illegals will support them
Will they make Pelosi or maxine waters president, or does Gavin think he will get to keep that job himself.

I tell you these people are freaking insane.

Sad to see the couple of friends I have their leave our great nation, but not sad to see the bulk of the people go.

I want that too! In fact, all states should be more responsible for their own stuff and not relying on the Fed to pay for everything and bail their dumb asses out.

You mean like the Taxmaster cuomo asking Trump to give NY some tax relief?

I am pretty sure Ca with ~15% of the national GDP will do just fine on their own. Its not going to happen, but they are one of the few states that might be able to pull it off financially

To be fair, they are net neutral on federal taxes (tax spent per capita divided by tax revenue to the federal government) - getting about $1 back for every $1 spent in federal taxes (personal).

So, they might do just fine. Of course, they'd have to drastically modify their ways, as they do get most of their water and electricity from states that are not as "green" as they pretend to be. Plus, what manufacturing and/or shipping would leave their state and go elsewhere if they were no longer part of the US?

Then why are they begging for wildfire money?
Because they don't want to own their own problems. They created the situation, now they want someone else to bail out their mistake.

Idiots like MR will tell you that they want "their" money back, but this is not a federal issue - it's entirely within the state and has nothing to do with federal policy or anything else.

It was a self-created problem that they want farmers in Iowa and oil folks in Texas to pay for.

What would be some impacts?
Remove all National Guard equipment
Move all military bases and personal and support assists
No incoming Electrical Power, Water, Natural Gas
No Federal funding of any kind
Tariff's on imports to the USA
No ATC
just to name a few

i would guess because they pay huge amounts into the federal coffers and want 'theirs' back.

Yeah, money paid into the federal coffers is supposed to go for national interest goodies - interstate highway system, foreign palm greasing, military, etc. It would be kind of hilarious for a state that promotes Socialism to want "theirs" back, wouldn't it?

almost as funny as you guys demanding 'yours' back from social security while claiming to be fiscal conservatives.....

BTW, that is how socialism is supposed to work, you give it (everything) to the governement so the government can take care of you when the time comes.

Why do you do this? Do you not know how Social Security works, or how it was sold to the public anyway? It seems to me it's been explained to you numerous times right on here. What's the problem? What part of it is too complicated for you to understand?

It was sold to us the exact same way that the fed sold national emergency response to the states. You pay in and they will take care of you.
You really wanting SS to not be a tax and entitlement does change anything.

Do you think the states individually (state governments) pay a tax to FEMA?

Personally, I can't wait!

I want to see what happens modern day the next time a President has to take measures to preserve the union. I hope them old hippies can fight, and I know the illegals will gladly give their lives when the tanks come rolling in!
