No doubt about that, and in my personal opinion, this base is in a good location. I do like SoMd and most of my family and friends who have visited do too.

Fortunately I had quite a few friends back in San Diego whose husbands or wives were in the military, and they were very helpful to us. Hopefully I'll be able to meet a few folks out here who are just as kind. :)

Nah, we're cool. We once did get spotted holding hands back in San Diego, but he was just told to "keep it on the down low." Trust me, if they kicked all the gay & lesbian sailors out of the Navy, the fleet would sink! :D
