I know this has been discussed but is there a requirement that 1/3 of all contestants be gay? I have no problem with the gays being on but the representation seems to far exceed the percentage of the general population. Today's intro was about the proposal to his now husband who was puking on a boat in Italy. After puking he said yes! WTH?

But they're almost 100% of the entertainment industry. The majority of entertainers are at least switch-hitter. I read a lot of biographies of old Hollywood stars - the current one is Bette Davis - and most of them are gay/lesbian/bi (Bette wasn't but the lesbians loved her and wouldn't leave her alone). A lot of them are gay for pay, as in they'll honk a bobo for a part or star billing.
As such, the people who put these TV shows together think everyone is gay because everyone they know is gay.
