IMO Eric Adamas is a scapegoat, Not an innocent one mind you, but a scapegoat. He is being used to take the pressure off of the P. Diddy case.
A case that will disappear without the arrest of anyone involved in the video's that diddy has that will be stored right next to Hunters laptop.

Both can be true. I think he really was a corrupt windbag who was more eager to help out the people in Turkey that would stuff (no pun intended) his pockets and inflate his good standing. He knowingly put people at risk doing this, especially when he pressured the fire department to approve inspection of an extremely unsafe skyscraper built to please Turkish political powers.

The timing on it cannot be ignored, and while I think that the people running this country didn't do it directly, they definitely led authorities to Adams or nudged them in his direction. I think that if they wanted to be direct they could have gotten him with something a lot more scandalous than bribery and corruption.
