Okay, but many do not make as much as they're worth, while their male colleagues make a lot more than they're worth (because the underpaid women do what the said male colleagues "delegate" to them). So I think there IS a gender pay gap which is hard to define in a quantitative way. Lots of women are willing to help when the job needs doing, whether or not it's in their job description. Men are increasingly willing to let that situation arise and persist.

Has anyone considered the FACT that there are just some jobs in this world that women are not physically capable of doing? I'm sorry but that is the truth.

Now, has anyone considered that those jobs are taken into account when they come up with the wage differences?

A lot of construction, manual labor, etc. jobs are dominated by men simply because they are physically able to perform at a level that is required in those jobs.

I believe that women should be paid an equal wage for doing equal work. I just think there is more to these "wage differences" than are reported.

They are getting an equal wage for equal work. It's called the Equal Pay Act of 1963.

Men make more in general because they work more overtime and work in higher paying (and often more dangerous) jobs. Also, there are more men in unions getting a guaranteed wage (even if they don't deserve the wage). These are the reasons.
