I am looking for suggestions and references for a small construction project, general contractor in the Waldorf, Indian Head area. One that will be responsive and somewhat timely.

I plan on building a 30x40 steel garage / shop this summer and need help making the plans for the county permits, electrical service design, excavation (6 oaks out by the roots) and a concrete pad poured.

please refer from your good experiences. (I have heard plenty of scary stories already.)

thanks

Do you need someone to actually put up the building for you or do you just need help with site work, prep (including the pad), and permit help?

I need help with all the prep work. I "PLAN" on building the steel garage with help from a few guys at work.. we build lots of large structures for the Navy, but the sites are usually all prepped for us. I wanted to do all of the work originally, but I'm running out of time to learn all that there is to make Chuck County happy.

I need to get cracking with the Jet Luge Laboratory.... :)

We had R & D Cross in Brandywine build ours for us. Do you already have a place to purchase the building from? If not call them and maybe they could help you with the pruchase and the permits.

I have not picked a brand of building yet. The price for each seems to change according to the building sizes they have in stock by a few thousand $$$ month to month.

Thanks for the tip
