Genesis 18:6 So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. “Quick,” he said, “get three seahs(b) of the finest flour and knead it and bake some bread.”
7 Then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf and gave it to a servant, who hurried to prepare it. 8 He then brought some curds and milk and the calf that had been prepared, and set these before them. While they ate, he stood near them under a tree.

b. Genesis 18:6 That is, probably about 36 pounds or about 16 kilograms
It seems to me that Abraham was really excited about these three visitors. Either nobody ever came to see him, ever, or [as one commentary puts it] he knew these visitors were uncommon.
Here's what blueletterbible.org has to say.
Abraham hurried into the tent: Again, to us this may seem to be overdoing it, but ancient culture had an extremely strong sense of hospitality to visitors. And it is also likely Abraham knew it was the LORD visiting him.
